Guided, My First Podcast Experience
If this sounds glamorous to you, let me tell you, it felt glamorous to me. Susan facilitated this podcast as if she’d been podcasting for years. She guided (!) me through the process of getting started, and then continued doing so through her questions – which enabled me to keep track of my own story, as I was telling it.
It’s a funny thing to notice: I have interviewed quite a number people for this blog myself, but I’ve never been at the other end.
Looking back at it now, I think everybody should get interviewed about their life…at least once in their life.
Why? Because it gets you talking about, and re-experiencing out loud, what you have been through to get to where you are. Not the way you would tell a friend, or a therapist, or a business contact. No, because you know more people will be listening in and that fact alone provides more meaning to your story. Whatever your story is!
Shouldn’t you have led an extraordinary life for that?
Why, doesn’t a life count otherwise? It’s not about what you’ve been through – both highs and lows – it’s what you DO with those experiences. What did they teach you? How did they change you? Trust me, we can all learn from experiences that changed us even the slightest bit.
In my case, ahem, my experiences changed me enormously…and got me moving to another country! How, why, what? You can listen to all that here:
More about Guided, the podcast:
The podcast is available on Soundcloud, next to Susan’s posting on her website. The name of the podcast, Guided, refers to people who follow their inner guidance on their life path. As Susan explains it:
“Guided is about a collection of interviews with inspiring women who listened and FOLLOWED their inner guidance, intuition, and their HEARTS to have the life of their dreams. This podcast is for you if you are looking to be inspired and ultimately, encouraged to also live the life you always wanted. As a Self-love coach, it is my greatest passion to help others follow their inner voice/wisdom to be what they are meant to be. This podcast is furthering that vision.”
